Ministers accused by judges should resign, says Afenifere

The pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, has said the ministers who have been accused by some judges of attempting to interfere with the course of justice in the past should resign.

Afenifere stated that any political office-holder involved in act of corruption should be made to face the wrath of the law.

This was contained in the communique issued at the end of the monthly meeting of the group held at the residence of Pa. Reuben Fasoranti in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Tuesday.

The communique was read by the Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Mr. Yinka Odumakin.

The group said minsters, currently serving in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari, who had been mentioned for allegedly attempting to pervert justice, should resign and face prosecution.
