Goals from Victor Moses and Pedro canceled out Christian Eriksen’s opener as Chelsea were 2-1 winners over Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.Spurs dominated a first half in which Chelsea played very negatively, often inviting pressure which the visitors were all too happy to dish out. Eriksen opened the scoring after 11 minutes when he beat Thibaut Cortois from distance.

After soaking up a load of pressure and offering very little themselves, Chelsea played their get-out-of-jail-free card when Pedro curled the ball brilliantly beyond Hugo Lloris on the stroke of half time.

The Blues came out a new side, and Spurs quickly looked vulnerable as Chelsea bombarded them in the final third. It didn’t take long for the hosts to take the lead, as Diego Costa provided the assist in a rapid counter-attack with Moses supplying the finishing touch.
