Calabar residents switch to second-hand clothes for Christmas

The economic recession in the country has driven some residents of Calabar in Cross River to patronise fairly used clothes for the Yuletide as opposed to new cloths which is the tradition the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

Many households, especially women now go for used clothes for themselves and their children due to the high cost of new cloths.

The Nigerian economy has spiralled out of controlled shortly after Muhammadu Buhari took over the reins of power from the previous administration.

Instead of bending down to solve the current myriad of problems facing the country, the Buhari-led administration has frequently blamed the previous administration for virtually everything that has gone wrong in the country since his administration took over.
