Las Vegas Mass Shooting: Body-Cam Footage Shows Police Responding to Deadly Attack (Watch Video)

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released video recorded by officers' body cameras as they responded to Sunday's mass shooting at a concert near the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Stephen Paddock, who had no previous record of violence or crime, had sprayed a crowd below with hundreds of rounds.

He took his own life before police broke into his hotel room, where they found 23 guns and 12 "bump stock" devices that can enable a rifle to fire continuously, like an automatic weapon.

It is not yet clear why he carried out this terrible act, and state and federal officials have not advanced any reasons so for, however some reports have suggested possible reasons.

The mass shooting is currently the most deadly mass shooting in US history, killing 59 people and injuring more than 500.
