Wizkid, popularly called Starboy made history on the 29th of September by becoming the first African artist to sell out the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The hall reportedly has a capacity of over 5k seats and it was sold out under 24 hours. Wizkid started the night with songs from his EME beginnings to this point as Africa’s number one artist.
The show was broadcast live on his official Facebook page , with great reactions from the crowd during the set.
Songs such as ‘Jaiye jaiye’, ‘Ojuelegba’, and ‘Come closer’ thrilled the hall was filled with over 5000 guests featuring an array of different races.
The concert had the likes of British act Yxng Bane and Nigeria’s Wande Coal performing at the show.
